Herts Design Review Panel
The way that we design new development is fundamental to creating sustainable places that communities value. Design review explores how a proposed development will meet the needs of users as well as its relationship with the existing environment and communities surrounding it. It does this by providing constructive advice to improve the quality of architecture, urban design, landscape and other matters of sustainable design and place making.
The Hertfordshire Design Review Panel has been set up to promote this aim and help planning authorities, project teams and their clients realise the full potential of schemes and create better quality places in Hertfordshire. The Review Panel offers advice on schemes of various scales, types and contexts and on matters ranging from architecture, urban design, master planning, planning, landscape, sustainability, transport, ecology, historic environment and engineering.
