Water
Traditionally development has paid little attention to managing water within the built environment. In this module the principles of Integrated Water Management are identified and the benefits listed. The solutions provided explain a number of technologies and design principles that:
- minimise the consumption of water;
- make use of alternative water sources;
- minimise wastage;
- manage surface water drainage; and
- improve water quality
