Oughtonhead Common
A designated Local Nature Reserve, Oughtonhead Common comprises of the Grazing Common and the River Oughton that runs along its northern edge. A range of wildlife can be found here, attracted by the diversity of the habitats.
Come for a walk and you might catch a glimpse of a kingfisher, a Speckled Wood butterfly, or a Southern Marsh Orchid.
A surfaced path follows the river and provides the River Walk.
The Commons Walk follows a grassy path around the edge of the Common.
