This Local Nature Reserve is one of the best sites to see wildflowers in the district, creating a beautiful patchwork of colour in the summer months that attract a range of insects and butterflies.
The centuries old hedgerows provide a feast for wildlife with nectar in the spring and fruit in the autumn. A pond provides spawning sites for frogs and other pond life in spring.
