Sopwell Nunnery, St. Albans
Sopwell Nunnery Green Space’s new boardwalk was officially opened to the public recently for everyone to enjoy.
This new wooden structure and all-weather boardwalk forms part of the River Ver Trail, which is a valuable pedestrian route for the local community.
A new leaflet, which was developed by the CMS provides details of this St Albans District Council’s owned site. Key topics include its history and the wildlife habitats that are found there, e.g. Wet Woodland and Summer Meadow. The leaflet is also available from local libraries and community places.
