Stort Valley
Between Bishop’s Stortford and Harlow is a valley rich in history and wildlife. Of particular note along this valley are the Black Poplar and Willow trees are remnants of a much older landscape. Use this leaflet to explore the Stort Valley along the towpaths and footpaths. Look out for the wildlife that makes the valley their home, such as Kingfishers, Purple Loosestrife and Dragonflies. There are plenty of interesting places to have a look at along the way.
