Section 52 Education Budget Statement 2006-2007 (Archived Document)

This Budget Statement sets out the Local Authority (LA) spending plans for the education part of the Children, Schools & Families (CSF) budget in 2006/07.

It provides a summary of the budget shares for all Hertfordshire maintained schools, together with details of those budgets retained to cover the functions of the LA. The Statement also provides information in relation to the formula for funding Hertfordshire schools, including amendments arising from the 2006/07 School Funding Consultation.

The common format of the return, as set by statute, provides an opportunity for schools and others to compare funding and methodology between different LEAs and to inform debate about budget levels and the distribution of resources.
