Section 52 Education Budget Statement - Indicative 2007/2008 (Archived Document)

This Budget Statement sets out the Local Authority (LA) indicative spending plans for the Schools Budget in 2007/08.

It provides a summary of the indicative budget shares for all Hertfordshire maintained schools (based on estimated pupil numbers), together with details of those budgets retained by the LA to cover provision such as Education other than at school. The Statement also provides information in relation to the formula for funding Hertfordshire schools.

The common format of the return, as set by statute, provides an opportunity for schools and others to compare funding and methodology between different LEAs and to inform debate about budget levels and the distribution of resources.
