Vox Pop

The vox pops project is a new and exciting way of encouraging local people to have their say about issues that are important to them.

In June, we asked residents at the Stevenage Town Show, what they thought about living in Stevenage, and we responded to what they told us.

What young people think about living in Stevenage

In this, the second part of the vox pops project, we spoke with young people at Barnwell School, Heathcote School, Thomas Alleyne School and with a skate group at the Bowes Lyon Centre.

We asked them face-to-face what they think about living in Stevenage, what they would do differently to improve the town, whether they felt safe and secure here, whether they could see themselves living and working in Stevenage in the future and if they felt they could make a difference in their local area.

You can have a look at what they said and see the responses from some of our staff and councillors. If you agree or disagree with anything, or just want to have your say, please tell us what you think.

Use the links below to see what young people said when we asked them these questions.  You can also use the 'Have your say ' link to tell us what you think.
